OHSR 2025 Camps

Structured Literacy Summer Camp

Dates: June 16th -July 2nd

 Ages: Rising 1st-8th grades

Time: 9:30-2pm

 Daily Schedule Includes:

  • 60 minutes of Structured Literacy

  • 30 min of Multisensory Math

  • 1.5 hrs of Steam Studio Time

  • 1 hour of outdoor play

​Camp is 13 days and ends Wednesday July 2nd to accommodate the July 4th holiday.

Tuition: $2200

Dungeons & Dragons

We will have multiple D&D groups going each week and each group will be limited to 5 campers of similar age so that every gamer gets a chance to play!

Daily Schedule:

  • 9:30-11:00 - Play D & D

  • 11:00-12:30 - Lunch and Recess at Candler Park

  • 12:30-2:00 - Play D & D

  • 2:30 - Pack up and Head to the Playground for Pick up! 

Each week campers will complete a full campaign, so you can sign up for one week or multiple weeks!

3-D Printing 

Weeks of: June 2nd, June 9th, July 7th, July 14th, July 21st, and July 28th
Embark on an exciting journey of creativity and innovation at Oak House School's 3D Printing Camp for kids aged 7-14!

Daily Schedule:

9:30-11:00 - Designing & Printing

11:00-12:30 - Lunch and Recess at Candler Park

12:30-2:00 - Designing & Printing

2:30 - Pack up and Head to the Playground for Pick up! 

​Explore the fascinating world of 3D printing technology. From crafting personalized toys to engineering mini masterpieces, this camp promises a blend of fun and learning, fostering a future generation of tech-savvy innovators.

STEM Camps

Monday- Friday* from 9:30am-2:30pm

Each week features a new theme! Themes and dates for 2025 are:

June 2-6 : Human Body 101

June 23-27 : The 5 Sense and Your Brain

June 30-3 : Electrical Engineering

July 7-11 : Marine Biology 101

Reader's Theater & Creative Writing Camps

June 9th or July 28th - Readers Theater:
​Our Reader’s Theater enhances reading fluency for students who have learned to decode, combining performance with literacy practice. Through script reading, prosody through character voices, and more campers boost comprehension, vocabulary, and confidence in a fun, creative environment!

July 14th Creative Writing Camp:

The Middle School Creative Writing Camp is a dynamic program designed to inspire young writers to explore their imaginations and develop their storytelling skills. Through engaging workshops, collaborative activities, and personalized feedback, participants will build confidence in their writing and discover their unique creative voice.

Video Game Design Camp

Dates: Weeks of: June 2nd, June 23rd, June 30th, July 7th

The Video Design Camp using Bloxels empowers campers to become game designers by creating their own video games from the ground up. Participants will design characters, build unique worlds, and craft engaging gameplay using the intuitive Bloxels platform. This camp combines creativity and technology, fostering skills in storytelling, coding, and problem-solving in a fun, collaborative environment.
